I enjoy tutoring because as a tutor, one not only understands students academically, but as individual persons. There could be many reasons why one struggles, and it is important that I figure out what those reasons are before tutoring a student.

I have 3 years of private tutoring experiences, during which I have designed personalised notes, lesson plans, and exercises for students. Coming from a local school, I understand the immense pressure and expectations of the HKDSE education system and how to attain personal best results in a way that is rewarding for the student, not only academically but personally as well. As a psychology student and clinical resident at a Therapy Center, I have experience communicating with SEN students and students from different walks of life. I am gentle, sensitive to students' needs, and motivated to pass on what I know to students.

關於我自己

Hello parents and students, I am Iris and I am currently studying Psychology at University College London (UCL). I have a strong academic track record, having achieved 37/42 in my best 6 subjects in the HKDSE, and a First Honour grade in both years in UCL. I have extensive experience with SEN students, including those with ADHD, on the Autism Spectrum/ with Social Communication Disorders, Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, etc), and am currently a clinical resident at a Therapy Center who works with these kids on a daily basis. I strongly believe that learning should be an enjoyable process, not without frustration, but it should always be a rewarding process.
