General Mills Box Tops goes digital

By ITS education Asia

In 1996, General Mills developed the Box Tops for Education program. Consumers would clip box tops of General Mills cereal brands like Cheerios and Wheaties, and send them to their schools. The schools would then send them to General Mills to be redeemed for 10 US cents. The funds would be used for school supplies and education events. General Mills has now upgraded this great program in the form of an app, which will allow people to send photographs and scans of their receipts of a purchase of a General Mills cereal brand. Wouldn’t it be great to see a company offer a program like that in Hong Kong?
