The SSAT is the Secondary School Admissions Test and runs six times per year. The ISEE is the Independent School Entrance Examination and this runs three times per year.
Each is a standardized test of age appropriate academic skills which is part of the information admissions boards may use to decide which pupils to admit to their school in the United States and around the world.
Some schools accept one or the other. Many accept both BUT they are likely to have a preference for one over the other so do make sure you ask your target schools which one to take. No matter which one you do, the ITS course caters to both.
ITS SSAT/ISEE Course familiarizes test takers with the course format and questions, making the test taking experience easier. It teaches strategies and techniques to give students more time to work on the test questions. Practising test-taking strategies enables students to answer tricky questions more easily.
There are three versions of the SSAT: Upper Level, Middle Level, and Elementary Level. There are four versions of the ISEE: Upper Level, Middle Level, Lower Level and Primary. The ITS SSAT/ISEE course covers Middle and Upper tests for entry to grades 6 and up. Upper and Middle Level tests are both 3 hours and 10 minutes in each version.
