The Student of The year awards organised by the SCMP, recognise students in variety of categories, and are sponsored by Hong Kong Jockey Club.
The winner this year of the Grand prize was Dylan Robinson, 17, who attends German Swiss International School. Dylan, a 17-year-old who co-founded a community project designed to help Hong Kong’s disadvantaged children.
This year there were 11 awards across nine categories, including in science, maths, languages and sport, along with best improvement, best devotion to school, plus the main award, and the judges praised all the winners for their ability to weather the challenges faced amid the coronavirus pandemic.
