A really good insight from UnHerd into the various issues that plagued the UK algorithm which was supposed to allocate grades last summer.
Perhaps the scariest thing is that there was more than one failing, that Ofqual did not realise and that the government allowed it to go ahead and then tried to stand by not until U-turning in the face of clear evidence that it had failed.
Very interesting if you want to understand more about grading systems.
ITS is just thankful all our students were given the grades our teachers awarded and they went off to university without the trouble that so many in the UK faced.
