Writing admissions essays can be tough, especially when you want to make your essay stand out. When we help parents select and apply to schools, we often ask them to give us as much information as possible so we can fully understand the family. On the one hand, this information allows the school to understand the families better by understanding if the family’s ideals and values align with their own. On the other hand, this allows the family to reflect upon their own situation which encourages them to talk about their experiences and stories.
