Michelle Obama and Julia Roberts are teaming up on a trip to Vietnam. The former first lady will join the "Erin Brockovich" actress for a visit to the Southeast Asian country next week for the Obama Foundation's Girls Opportunity Alliance.
It's not the first time Roberts has used her voice to advocate for girls' education around the world. Last year, the Academy Award winner was one of several high-profile performers who participated in a video message to mark International Day of the Girl.
Michelle Obama made girls' education one of her initiatives while at the White House, launching in 2015 her "Let Girls Learn" program, which helps those in developing countries seek educational opportunities.
