Sharon Bradley began a career in teaching after leaving nursing 26 years ago and has never missed a single day at work. She didn’t even take time off after her beloved 90-year-old husband died this year.
Sharon isn’t vying for Superwoman’s cape; work is her happy place. “I feel better and I do better when I’m here on the job,” she said. She describes the everyday adventures as “A student who wants to share something and all you have to do is listen. Sometimes it’s a coworker who needs an encouraging word. I don’t want to miss that opportunity to be able to provide that.”
