Memorization is important to critical thinking

By ITS Education Asia

Despite popular belief that memorization is useless for critical analysis, recent studies have shown that having information stored in your memory is what enables one to think critically. Some scientists believe that the more factual knowledge people have about a topic, the better they can think about it critically and analytically.
