While ITS is known for its specialist one-to-one tuition, there are times when small classes are more effective. Research shows that classes of up to 20 students benefit significantly more from teacher attention than more traditional sizes of 30+. By melding our tailored approach to teaching with the dynamics of small classes (between 4 and 20 students) we are able to deliver fantastic outcomes in popular qualifications and tests. Currently ITS offers fixed course group classes in the following five areas.

Digital SAT
All international candidates for the SAT must now take the test online. ITS has developed its own proprietary learning platform to combine learning materials with practice questions and tests. This is the first of its kind in Asia and allows students to more effectively prepare for the format and mode in which they take the test.

Our courses follow the same format as our one-to-one lessons but are run in a group class setting. Each scheduled class is timed into an SAT test date.

IAL Revision Class
ITS has been an official Pearson Edexcel examination centre since 2012. We have been teaching private candidates since 2005. Our IAL revision classes in the most popular subjects of Mathematics and the Sciences take place over 5 week-ends prior to each examination session in October, January and May. Each session lasts 2.5 hours and covers a module or module type. Teachers cover top tips for exam technique and management, address individual concerns and run through model answers to past questions. Students take away a revision booklet produced by ITS teachers with years of experience in exam prep. Students can attend whichever modules they wish. Purchases are made on a module by module basis. IAL Group Class
While most private candidates come to ITS as individuals, there are those who would prefer a group class setting. This may be because they prefer to have class mates for peer-to-peer support and the more social setting of a group. It is also a more affordable option for those families who have a tighter budget available. Teachers cover the IAL syllabuses in an accelerated setting with extensive guided learning given to students. Students are also welcome to stay at our school after lesson time for their personal prep. The timing of module teaching allows for students who wish to take the exam to enrol as private candidates through our exam centre if they wish.

IELTS Class
The IELTS test is one of the most recognized and required tests of English. Students from Hong Kong who wish to study overseas will need to take it if they do have other English language qualifications and if they cannot show their schooling is in English medium. IELTS is also used in a range of professional and other visa settings. Our group class allows people to access our specialised teachers at a more affordable cost than one-to-one tuition.
