Music education 'risks being outdated by technology'

“Music teaching could be left behind in an outdated acoustic age if it does not keep up with technology.” The Music Commission believes that much music teaching is out of touch with how young people relate to music.

The commission is not arguing that traditional music teaching be abandoned just that more teaching regarding creating digital music be incorporated into music courses.
