Student who dropped out of grammar school to pursue vocational education represents Hong Kong in 'Skills Olympics' held in Russia

By ITS Education Asia

Here is a very inspirational article from the SCMP about a Hong Kong student who found traditional education difficult and enrolled in a vocational course. He is now representing Hong Kong at the ‘Skills Olympics’ in Russia.

Ayza Lai Chun completed a Diploma in Vocational Education at the Vocational Training Council’s Youth College in Kowloon Bay. Ayza, now 19, is representing Hong Kong in the WorldSkills competition in Kazan, Russia.

Congratulations Ayza. Best of luck from all us here at The ChalkFace.
