Digital learning in Hong Kong went mainstream in the education sector in February 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Closing schools and transitioning to online learning has been critical for students’ education.
With schools closed in Hong Kong until further notice, Anne Murphy, our Educational Services Director collaborated with Olga Schiffers, Education Specialist, Santa Fe Relocation, to understand the varying degrees of ongoing support and guidance from schools and teachers, and how parents and students are continuing to adapt to the new norm of learning.
From our discussion with parents, principals and students who attend Hong Kong International, Hong Kong Academy, Kellett School, Shrewsbury International School, Stamford American and Discovery Bay International School, we have developed a deeper understanding of the factors involved in the new way students are being educated.
