Adults in England without an A-level or equivalent qualification will be offered a fully funded college course, the BBC reports the UK government has announced. The offer will be available from April and applies to courses offering "skills valued by employers”.
A full list of available courses will be announced next month. This seems like an initiative that may be suitable for other governments to consider. Helping people improve their employment skills is a positive step to helping some of those whose lives have been disrupted by the pandemic.
