'We're at breaking point': will UK scientists' big ideas survive Brexit?

By ITS Education Asia

Brexit is having far reaching implications for many aspects of UK life.  The effect on scientific research is discussed in this recent article from The Guardian.  There are numerous concerns being raised by UK scientists about what will happen to their research projects once their access to European funding is cut. The problem is further worsened by the “Brain Drain” as top scientists from other European countries leave the UK in search of more stable positions in other EU countries.  Added to this, many EU universities were engaged in joint study programmes with UK partners.  The future of these is now in doubt.
