Brexit is having far reaching implications for so many aspects of UK life, including a surprising effect on scientific research. There are numerous concerns being raised by UK scientists about what will happen to their research projects once their access to European funding is cut. The problem is further worsened by “Brain Drain” as top scientists from other European countries leave the UK in search of more stable positions in other EU countries.
