About Me
I am a 16 year old teenage advocate who graduated from the UNITAR program of 2023. I am interested
in advancing progress in the field of poverty alleviation, climate change and sustainable development.
Currently, I am a year 12 student at the British International School Ho Chi Minh City progressing his
International Baccalaureate (IB). I am also interested in sustainable entrepreneurship practices which
adhere to the SDG and ESG agendas. I aim to inspire youth and peers to expand their knowledge in
business practices and improve the youth's financial literacy, fostering a prosperous and sustainable
future.
Project Description
I showcased the “Eco-stall” at the UNITAR 2023 pitching day - an ecologically sustainable initiative, a
social enterprise with a progressive vision for the future of street food. Nowadays, the world’s ever-
changing pace pushes global development to an even more rapid rate - unsustainable consumerism
inherently degrades OUR environment. Thus, we introduce an ecologically sustainable street food stall
utilizing the circular economy of locally sourced materials from Vietnam: compressed bamboo, metal
roofings. Our stall catalyzes a sustainable movement in the street food industry, following its aesthetic
and user-friendly design all the while maintaining affordable prices. Stalls utilize integrated solar panels
to leverage Asia’s intense sunlight hours. Through the Eco-stall I hope to be able to preserve and re-
invigorate our rich cultural heritage of street food with a sustainable approach.
Progress after UNITAR:
After connecting with inspiring individuals which truly fueled my ambitions, I proceeded to showcase
the Eco-stall at the Global Goals Week 2023 as a Systems Change ambassador. Afterwards I raised $2000
dollars in the span of 3 days using my Eco-stall at school events. I also founded two other initiatives:
‘ToyJoy’ and ‘Global Innovators Hub’ to further advocate sustainability and entrepreneurship in my local
community.
