About Me
Adrianne is a self-driven, curious high school sophomore attending the German Swiss International School of Hong Kong. She is intrigued by a few common interests, such as classical music, swimming as a sport, and psychology. She also takes an interest in the arts, hence recreationally playing the piano and frequently admiring the visual arts. She also enjoys certain works of literature. Adrianne is passionate about problem-solving and enjoys collaborating with others with different perspectives. She has also participated in various volunteer projects, understanding the need for exposure to expand her knowledge and the concern to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Through activities like these, Adrianne hopes to develop the necessary skills and knowledge she needs, to not only grow as a person but to bring change.
Project Description
The rise in youth involvement in financially motivated crimes in Hong Kong heavily highlights a need for enhanced preventive measures and community engagement. As authorities work to address this issue through education and awareness campaigns, it is crucial to understand the underlying factors driving young people toward these illegal activities. At this point, our project is still a vision. Our project’s mission is to help and lower crime among youth by bringing equitable employment opportunities to those economically and socially marginalized, and reduce the liability on society through lowering potential criminal activities for economic / financial motives. Together it is our duty and responsibility to ensure each and every youth can thrive. Through education and actions taken, we can help educate youth to prevent falls and build futures, reducing youth crime and promoting growth for teenagers and hindering youth involvement in financial crimes.
