About Me
My name is Adrian, and I am currently studying the IB Diploma curriculum at South Island School. As a relaxed and friendly person, I enjoy connecting with others and building strong relationships. One of my greatest passions is sports, particularly field hockey, which I have played for most of my life. This sport has significantly shaped my character, teaching me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Additionally, I have a keen interest in Go Chess, a strategic game that has fostered my patience and analytical thinking, allowing me to approach problems from various angles. Moreover, I strongly believe in the idea of giving back to my community and this has drived me to take active participation is community service such as by joining the Alpha Leo Club Of Shatin Hong Kong. My fascination with engineering has been a constant in my life, and I am especially eager to explore sustainable practices within this field. I aspire to develop innovative solutions that address environmental challenges and promote sustainability, believing that engineering can play a pivotal role in creating a more sustainable future.
Project Description
Sports Odyssey is an initiative that involves providing underprivileged families in Hong Kong the opportunity to take part in certain recreational activities that are often out of their socioeconomic reach. Each event day will take place at a sports institute or sports club and will involve several activities such as sports workshops, team building games and family challenges. The activities or sports offered will largely depend on the facilities offered by the club. This initiative aims to create a fun and supportive environment where families can engage in various sports, fostering stronger community cohesion and providing young children with valuable exposure to sporting opportunities.
