Ayaka Ishii

About Me

Ayaka is an outgoing and creative student at Hiroshima International School in Japan. Known for her talkative and solid personality, she has a strong interest in sports, particularly beach volleyball, which she actively practices outside the school. Generous and reliable, Ayaka establishes strong relationships with other people when she takes a leadership role in school, which she enjoys. As a member of this modern community, she hopes to become more actively involved in promoting SDG goals, addressing issues, and developing solutions to pass on to the community.

Project Description

My project is about phone addiction, aiming to reduce the screen time of adolescents by creating an app that limits phone use with an adjustable color display. The project addresses issues such as physical, and mental health and the negative impact on education caused by distractions from excessive phone use. The idea for this project came from my personal experience with phone addiction, and I see many other people at my school struggling to get out of SNS.
