Project Description

My project is called Hiroshima English Activity. I came up with this because of the decreasing English literacy in Japan. The problem I identified is that students in Japan don't have quality English education. Teachers don't know English, their English curriculum is too rigid, and it is not effective enough to teach English. My initiative works by planning English learning events in public schools in Hiroshima city and providing English education and English learning opportunities to Japanese students. Our initiative is related to SDGs 4, 10, and 8, and we plan to begin in December 2024.
