About Me
I’m Jennifer, a grade 11 student studying at Christian Alliance International School. Growing up in a Canadian International School has broadened my perspective on both Hong Kong and Canadian cultures. Some of my interest include cooking and trying foods from different places, spending time with young children, and rollerblading. If I were to describe myself in three words, they would be bubbly, optimistic, and creative, as I always find ways to make things interesting. I have a passion for serving young children and aspire to take initiatives to promote equality for all families. One motto I live by is, ‘Change one small thing today and bigger changes will follow.’ This belief inspires me to take action and strive for a better future for all.
Project Description
'Heritage Haven' is a project dedicated to creating inclusive and enriching opportunities for individuals from lower-income backgrounds in Hong Kong to explore and engage with the city's diverse cultural heritage. Through interactive workshops like storytelling, games, and cultural tours, we aim to foster a sense of community and enhance cultural awareness. We will offer experiences that highlight Hong Kong's traditional arts and crafts, culinary workshops, and music sessions. Our goal is to create an environment where participants can fully express their creativity and embrace the unique culture of Hong Kong. 'Heritage Haven' seeks to bridge gaps within the community, promote inclusivity, and allow people of all classes to enjoy the unique culture of Hong Kong.
