Australia: "create new models" to prepare for future of work

An interesting article from The PIE about the need for tertiary education to adapt to changes in employment opportunities that future graduates will face.

Tertiary education is Australia needs to adapt to a changing employment landscape, which will require educators, learners, employers and governments to collaborate to ensure graduates are ready for the workplace of the future.

A joint initiative of leading education and employer bodies, the Australian Technology Network of Universities, TAFE Directors Australia, the Australian Industry Group and AlphaBeta, called for 12 key actions to help the transition to a new workplace.

It is not just the pandemic that is causing changes to the workplace so initiatives like the ones discussed in this article are welcome.
