One World International School (Nanyang) opened its doors to students in January 2018. German European School Singapore (GESS) – new campus opening in August 2018
Doors to the new and impressive purpose built GESS Campus at Dairy Farm open in August 2018. Nexus International School (NISS) – new campus opening 2020
Nexus International School (Singapore) (NISS) will be moving to Aljunied, Geylang. The all-through IB school for 2,000 students aged three to 18 year plans to relocate from its Bukit Timah site to a new ‘vertical campus’. Middleton International School – new campus opens in May 2018
Middleton International School by EtonHouse will open a second campus in Tampines in May 2018. After a successful launch at the Upper Bukit Timah campus in January 2017, Middleton will expand to offer its very own innovative approach to international education at half the school fees charged by others. The campus will offer hard courts, sports fields, specialist studios and a cafeteria, the campus will offer a holistic education for millenials. The new campus will house up to 1,000 students, and will offer a through train pathway from Nursery 2 to High School (three to 18 years old). The pre-school will follow the EtonHouse Inquire-Think-Learn programme, while the primary programme follows United Kingdom's curriculum for English, and is inspired by the Ministry of Education for the mathematics, science and humanities subjects.

Global Indian International School (GIIS) – new campus opens third quarter of 2018
The new Global Indian International School campus in Punggol is planning to be one of the most technologically-advanced SMART campuses in all of Asia. Seven-stories high, it has more than 130 classrooms fitted with TV display panels and tablets, high-speed internet, while the campus will have facilities like sports data analytics and smart safety features like facial recognition. Students will also have the opportunity to learn from faculty members from specialised fields and industry leaders, and will have access to learning resources from international universities through virtual classrooms. Long-distance group projects will be implemented with fellow GIIS students from campuses across seven countries. Chatsworth International School – new Bukit Timah Campus opens in August 2018
Chatsworth International School in the East will close operations from their campus coming August. The Chatsworth group will instead open their second campus in the current GESS campus in Bukit Tinggi in August 2018. Facilities will include a sports complex, swimming pool, basketball court, football pitch, performing arts hall, art and music rooms, science labs, a library and a canteen.
The Secondary School (Years 7 to 13) will move to Bukit Timah, and the existing Orchard Campus will become an expanded primary school for students from Kindergarten through to Year 6.

New Local Schools in Singapore:
Two new primary schools and a secondary school have been built in Punggol to meet the demand in the young housing estate while a primary school will be built in Tampines North, according to the Ministry of Education (MOE) The new schools will bring the total number of primary schools in Punggol to 11, and the number of secondary schools in the area to four. Besides this, in Punggol, the ministry is also building a new primary school in Tampines North. *Public information has not been released on the expected completion dates for the schools.
What else do you need to know?
The will be 20% of places in affiliated secondary schools will be reserved for non-affiliated students. Twenty Seven secondary schools in Singapore currently offer their affiliated primary school students priority in the Secondary 1 admission. From 2019, these schools will have to reserve one-fifth of the places for students with no affiliation priority, to ensure these schools remain accessible to all students regardless of their backgrounds.
Several secondary schools in mature housing estates have merged in recent years after being hit by falling student enrolments. Eleven have merged with others in the last two years, including Balestier Hill Secondary School in Novena and Henderson Secondary School in Bukit Merah in 2017.
The proposed development, with an estimated gross floor area of 28,335 sq metres, consists of two blocks of seven-storey classrooms, one block of three-storey canteen and a multi-purpose hall, with construction work expected to be completed by fourth quarter 2020. All the blocks will be interconnected via a deck at the second storey and link bridges on higher floors.
