Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing (CAAT) provides required admissions tests which are part of the application and selection process for a range of undergraduate programmes at top UK universities.

If you are thinking of applying to Medicine, Mathematics, or various courses at Oxford or Cambridge, you may need to take a CAAT pre-application test.

ITS is an official Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing Centre (No: HK109) in Hong Kong.

We can help you enrol for and take CAAT tests at our school in Central, Hong Kong. We can also provide advice on which test you might need and when to take it. Finally, we can help with your preparation.

Get started on your CAAT preparation. Don’t leave it too late to get advice so that you won’t miss your chance to apply for a course at top UK universities.

Enquiries will be entertained on a first come, first served basis* therefore all test takers are encouraged to enrol as soon as possible

*Notes:

  1. No seat reservations can be made for these enrolments. Potential candidates must ensure that all required information has been written on enrolment forms for this to be processed. This includes a valid, accessible email address and UCAS ID.
  2. All candidates are expected to have a UCAS ID upon enrolment. Only candidates who are not enrolling for UK universities in September 2022 do not need a UCAS ID.

Students applying to Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Biomedical Science and Dentistry at certain universities require this test.

Required by approximately 10 UK universities as a pre-admissions test for students intending to read Law. The test consists of multiple choice and an essay. The deadline for taking the test varies, depending on the student’s choice of universities.

IMAT - International Medical Admissions Test
IMAT is a subject-specific admissions test in English for applicants to medicine and surgery and dentistry courses taught in English at certain Italian universities.

Other tests:
The following tests are commonly used for entry to UK courses but are not part of the CAAT suite. ITS provides preparation for them but cannot administer the exam itself. ITS only administers the Cambridge Assessment Admission tests listed above.

LNAT – Law National Admissions Test
Required by approximately 10 UK universities as a pre-admissions test for students intending to read Law. Run by the LNAT Consortium.

UKCAT – UK Clinical Admissions Test 
Required by a number of UK universities for admission to Medicine and Dentistry. It is run by the UKCAT Consortium.
