About The School
ASHK is Esol Education’s only school in South East Asia; the Dubai-based Esol group has a portfolio of nine international American schools and has a strong track record of graduates attending universities including Stanford, Yale, Columbia and the London School of Economics. It opened in Tai Po, in 2016, and is very much An American-style school. The academic program is heavily influenced by American method including Common Core, MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing, Next Generation Science Standards and SHAPE America (Society of Health and Physical Educators). It is characterized by its friendly environment, strong leadership, holistic approach, strong Mandarin, STEAM focus, and US Common Core. The aim for ASHK as stated on their website is ‘To deliver a rigorous curriculum, focused on developing well-rounded, motivated, open-minded and thoughtful global citizens.
