Welcome to the German School Kuala Lumpur! We are very pleased that you are interested in our school and would like to use our homepage to provide you with clear and up-to-date information about our school and our school life. In Kuala Lumpur, the multicultural metropolis of Malaysia, our students learn to be socially competent, team-oriented and competitive while respecting both the history and culture of our host country as well as German traditions and performance standards. DSKL is one of 140 German schools abroad worldwide and has just been awarded the “Excellent German School Abroad” seal of approval once again. Our school includes a kindergarten and grades 1-12 with all German school-leaving qualifications including the German International Abitur (DiA). Due to diverse teaching and learning methods, our students are educated to become independent and critical thinkers, capable of taking responsibility for themselves and others. We emphasize appropriate support and sustained learning so that students can optimally develop their academic, social and personal potential. We are an open all-day school with afternoon supervision and with a wide range of study groups from various fields. A small shared apartment, which also includes a chaperone, makes it possible for guest students to attend our school.
