About The School
ISS is one of Singapore’s oldest and most well-established international schools. It currently has two campuses, one serving the elementary and middle schools located very centrally near Orchard Road, and the high school campus located in a lush and green tropical area, about 7km away. The two will merge in August 2020 into the secondary campus on Preston Road. The school in Singapore is part of a larger ISS educational group, which includes the Beijing International School of Singapore (BISS), in China. The small class sizes, especially in secondary school make for good student to teacher ratios and help in individualised learning. ISS also supports students with English as a second language and all students from K1 through to Grade 8 study Mandarin. ISS is unique as they offer a guardianship programme for parents living overseas, offering students ISS-listed guardians, as well as a boarding house service. Students are encouraged to sign up to the school’s extensive ECA programme and Action in Service is an integral part of the curriculum. Discounts will be offered to families relocating to the unified campus in August 2020.
