About The School
Established in 1995, LIS has three campuses in some of Lantau Island’s most scenic locations – a kindergarten at Cheung Sha, a lower primary school in Tong Fuk, and the upper primary in Pui O. LIS currently has 14 classes for around 300 students across its campuses, and class sizes are 22 at lower primary and 24 in upper primary. Surrounded by national parks, mountains and the sea, LIS claims to have “the greenest environment any school in Hong Kong has to offer”. The school boasts a unique balance between an English education following the British curriculum combined with extensive Mandarin classes. Students receive a well-rounded education of the highest academic standard that combines classroom and outdoor learning, allowing them to flourish both socially and academica
