About The School

Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong (LPCUWC) offers the two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. LPCWC is part of UWC movement, has a population of just over 250 students from over 80 different nationalities. Around 45% of students come from Hong Kong, and the remaining 55% come from around the world; all students live in the four residential blocks on campus. Every year, about 500 students apply for places. LPCUWC is renowned for its strong IB Diploma scores, strong teaching staff and it’s Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) programme. The school fully embraces the IBDP, a learner-centred and inquiry-based education which covers languages, humanities, sciences, maths, the arts, physical health education and technology. The philosophy of UWC schools is to select students purely on merit and their financial background is not a hindrance for them to be selected, many students receive scholarships at LPCUWC.
