About The School
Tanglin Trust School is the oldest British international school in South East Asia, established in 1925. As a not-for-profit, tuition fees are devoted to the provision of an outstanding education, providing students with ample opportunities both in and outside the classroom. Tanglin offers a very nurturing learning environment with this aim, students achieve their intellectual, spiritual, cultural, social and physical goals. They strive to make every child feel valued, happy and successful. Students are encouraged to actively participate in an array of activities and encouraged to be kind, respectful to others and integrity is highly valued.
The campus is divided in to sections, each building consist of assembly and sporting halls, music rooms, indoor facilities for orchestras and choirs, suites for the study of Information and Communications Technology, drama studios, and science laboratories. Additional facilities at the school include an eight-lane 25 meter swimming pool and learner pool, outdoor playgrounds, tennis courts, playing fields, a running track, a fitness center, shaded lunch areas, two cafés, and a bakery shop.
It is the only school in Singapore to offer A Levels or the IB Diploma in Sixth Form, students at Tanglin study a programme that is tailored to their passions, skills and talents. The school is inspected every year by the British Schools Overseas (BSO) framework, recognized by Ofsted. All three schools have been awarded Outstanding, the highest possible grade in their latest inspections (2017, 2018 and 2019).
