About The School
Founded in 2007, THS has grown to three campuses. The Grove primary school in Ap Lei Chau offers an American curriculum that has been adapted to align with both American and British standards, however, with teaching and learning is based on the American Education Reaches Out (AERO) standards and is student centric. The Grove has mixed-age classrooms and adopts a very unconventional approach to learning for mainstream, gifted and children with learning needs. The education is primarily focused on critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and teamwork, with little or no exams and assessments during the Primary Years. What makes the school so different is the approach to teaching academic subjects, offering students opportunities to learn subject matters through innovative and hands-on learning experiences.
