About The School
Victoria Shanghai Academy (VSA) is a bilingual school with a large Cantonese- speaking student population. The school is part of the Victoria Educational Organisation, which also has nine nurseries and kindergartens across Hong Kong; all kindergarten students get priority admission to the school which is an advantage for parents. VSA aims to attract students who wish to strive for academic and personal excellence and be actively involved in a student-centered community that combines international perspectives and Chinese heritage. At Primary level, students are co-taught by an English and Mandarin speaker and in the MYP years, the language of instruction is English with the exception of Chinese language and literature and Chinese as additional language classes. And in the IBDP, students take two or three languages, which can include French or Spanish.
